A recent Samsung Galaxy S21 leak may reveal the release date for the new phone. Leaks have revealed that it will be released in mid-January. This is unusual, because the Samsung S21 line has typically been released in February for quite some time. No further details about what to expect from this new phone have been released just yet either.
Additionally exciting is the virtual reality of what’s to come -Jon Prosser, known unmistakably as an Apple enthusiast. He predicts that the Galaxy S21 will be announced within a few days on January 14, 2021 with a release date following shortly after on January 29.
Given the somewhat capricious nature of the world we live in, it’s not completely outside of the realm of possibility that Samsung would roll out such unusual improvements to its yearly timetable. Some believe that they have done this to show disdain toward Apple and to cut off the iPhone 12’s time at the center of attention. Others say it’s to more equitably distribute their product releases which currently include the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold.
More significant than the thought process is the worry about when Galaxy S21 will be in stores. Samsung would have almost no chance to repeat the phone’s highlights, not to mention effectively develop and test the new product. The last time it hurried a product launch, it wound up being a red hot fiasco and Samsung likely would not want to open 2021 with an exacting blast.
At the end of each day, there’s no major event for Samsung to plan around and show off their Galaxy S21 phones. And without that reason to hold off on releasing their new leader phones, maybe they’ll just use the time between CES 2020 and February 2020 to debut their Galaxy S21 line of handsets and be the first big-name company to launch a high-end phone after the conclusion of CES 2021.
